Kitchen

The newly refurbished kitchen is ideal for those wanting to try their hand at creating their own French cuisine. The abundant local markets are perfect for picking up some inspiration and fresh local ingredients such as cheeses, truffles and wines. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large five ring burner oven, washing machine, fridge, freezer, additional drinks fridge and all pots and pans at your disposal. There is also a dishwasher - because who wants to wash up while on holiday! Choose to dine inside at your own farmhouse kitchen table (seats up to 12) or enjoy the glorious French sunshine while dining alfresco in your private eating area.

Living Area

The downstairs of the barn is open plan with a beautifully tiled floor throughout, extremely large comfy seating area with satellite television and free high speed Wi-Fi. A large central fireplace hosts a beautiful log burning fire (for the cooler months) while a double set of French doors opens directly on to the main courtyard.

Master Bedroom with en-suite

The relaxing large master bedroom has an extremely luxurious Feather & Black king size bed, furnished with white cotton bed linens where a restful night is guaranteed. Rustic French charm runs throughout Le Grand Bouchon, even in the newly refurbished en-suite bathroom (winter 2018), where a large wooden beam adds a splash of character that compliments the large powerful waterfall shower.

Extra beds can be added to make this room an excellent family suite.

Twin Bedroom

Continuing the same charm throughout, the spacious twin room consists of two Feather and Black single beds with plenty of storage space for 2 people.

Double Bedroom

The double bedroom to the front of the barn has a Feather and Black double bed with plenty of room and built in wardrobes for two people.

Main Bathroom

Fully refurbished winter 2018 the main bathroom has a large modern sink, toilet and luxurious bath with shower attached.

Extras

Our guests will also have access to the large heated swimming pool with outdoor shower. The pool is completely private (serves two gites) and perfectly positioned to soak up the sun all day. Relax poolside with a good book and a glass of wine on one of the comfy sun loungers. High speed Wi-Fi and both British and French satellite channels are also available. To ensure your holiday begins in the best way, a luxury welcome hamper featuring local wines and cheese will be waiting for you when you arrive.
